By accessing or using the Rissatickets website, mobile application, or any services related to ticketing (collectively referred to as the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Rissatickets and you, the user.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase tickets via the Platform. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, such as ticket purchases, you must register for a user account. When registering:

• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect a violation of these Terms or unlawful activity.

All ticket prices and fees are clearly displayed at the time of purchase. You agree to pay all charges incurred through your account using available payment methods, including card payments and M-Pesa.

Important Notes:

• Prices are set by event organizers and may include convenience or processing fees.

• All transactions are processed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated.

• Payments are non-refundable except where stated by the organizer or as required by law.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the respective event organizer. Rissatickets may assist in facilitating communication between you and the organizer, but:

• We do not guarantee any refunds unless explicitly stated.

• Canceled or rescheduled events may be eligible for a refund or credit depending on organizer terms.

If an event is canceled, we will notify users and may issue refunds on behalf of the organizer if authorized to do so.

7. Use of the Platform

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes

• Violate any Kenyan laws, including the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act

• Interfere with the security or operation of the Platform

• Attempt to resell tickets in violation of Kenyan anti-scalping laws or event organizer restrictions

• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation

We reserve the right to monitor usage and enforce compliance, including suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, software, and images, is owned or licensed by Rissatickets and protected under Kenyan copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our express written permission.

9. User-Generated Content

If you post reviews, comments, or feedback:

• You grant Rissatickets a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content.

• You agree that your content will not violate any third-party rights or be unlawful, abusive, or misleading.

We reserve the right (but not obligation) to review and remove content at our discretion.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We comply fully with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, including:

Service Availability:

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times. Access may be affected by system failures, maintenance, or internet connectivity.

Event Liability:

Rissatickets is not the organizer of events listed on our Platform and is not liable for:

• Event changes, delays, or cancellations

• Health, safety, or security at event venues

• Actions or omissions of third-party organizers or vendors

General Limitation:

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Rissatickets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms

• Suspected fraud or illegal activity

• Violation of Kenyan laws or rights of others

You may also close your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting customer support.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from or related to the use of our Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
